Am I dressed up as a wolf or a fox? As a stork or a crane? 16 cards lie face-up, showing children in animal costumes. Another 16 cards, showing the same animals as the children’s costumes, are shuffled and placed face-down in a pile. In the variant for the youngest children, each child draws an animal card. Now the game is about good observation and quick reactions. Whoever finds the costume corresponding to their animal first may keep the card. Older children can play it as a question and answer game. With questions like “can you fly?” or “are you a pet?” they try to guess which card another player is holding. A lovingly illustrated guessing game that teaches observational skills, imagination and vocabulary in both small and larger groups.
