Spring is coming. In ‘Botanicus’ players are creating their own botanical garden and want to meet their visitors’ very specific demands regarding the plants they want to see there. That’s why they pay for their gardener to travel all around the garden, planting and watering plants in adjacent spaces. The choice of actions is a source of some exciting player conflict: the stronger my action is in this round, the longer I will have to wait to take my action in the next round – but by then the best spots may already be taken. Good timing and a clever route plan for the gardener are essential to achieving the greenest fingers on the table.
