In traditional Indian teachings, the seven energy centres that link the physical body with the astral form are known as chakras. These chakras are depicted on players’ tableaus as coloured circles, each with three spaces. Competing against their opponents, players must fill these spaces with energy stones of the matching colour. The simple rule set allows us either to take new energy crystals from the supply or to move the existing crystals on our board according to pre-determined criteria. Players can leap over a completely filled chakra. It’s not about speed but about the right combination of clever planning and efficient crystal management, as each colour of chakra is worth a different number of points each game.
