Three times three – that’s how you win the game of ‘Trio’. The game is made up of three sets of cards numbered one to twelve – some will be in players’ hands, others face-down in the middle of the table. The aim is to carefully interrogate your opponents to find three sets of three: “Show me your lowest card” or “I would like to see your highest card” are the only two requests allowed. Risk-takers may choose to reveal one of the face-down cards in the middle of the table. As long as the cards match, you can keep on searching to complete the ‘Trio’.
